At 8LPA><School, we understand that circumstances may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all students.
7+ days before start: Full refund minus processing fee (₹10,000)
3-6 days before start: 50% refund of fees paid
1-2 days before start: 25% refund of fees paid
On start date: 0% refund of fees paid and,
Refunds are processed based on the following criteria:
Course cancellation by the student within the specified timeframe
Course cancellation by 8LPA><School due to insufficient enrollment
Technical issues preventing course delivery for more than 7 consecutive days
Proven cases of misrepresentation of course content or outcomes
Registration and processing fees (₹2000)
Course materials and resources already accessed
Certification fees (if certificate has been issued)
Third-party service charges (payment gateway fees, etc.)
Laptop or hardware provided as part of premium packages
Submit a refund request via email to refunds@8lpa.com
Include your enrollment details, reason for refund, and supporting documents
Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days
If approved, refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
As an alternative to cancellation, we offer course transfer options:
Batch Transfer: Move to a different batch of the same course (one-time free transfer)
Course Transfer: Switch to a different course of equal or lesser value
Deferment: Postpone your enrollment for up to 6 months
Transfer requests must be made at least 48 hours before the course start date. Additional fees may apply for course upgrades.
In case of medical emergencies preventing course completion, we offer:
Course freeze for up to 3 months with medical certificate
Partial refund consideration based on course completion percentage
Free transfer to future batches when ready to resume
For students relocating due to job requirements:
Transfer to online mode if available
Deferment option for up to 12 months
Partial refund consideration with proper documentation
For courses with placement guarantees, the following conditions apply:
Student must complete 100% of the course curriculum
Maintain minimum 80% attendance in live sessions
Complete all assignments and projects satisfactorily
Actively participate in placement activities for 6 months post-completion
Accept job offers that meet the minimum salary criteria (3 LPA+)
In case of disputes regarding cancellations or refunds:

Escalate to the Academic Director if not resolved within 7 days
Final escalation to the Management Committee
External mediation through consumer forums if required
All disputes will be governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of Bangalore courts.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email
Refund processing time may vary based on payment method and bank processing
EMI cancellations may involve additional charges from financing partners approx. ₹21500/-
21Course materials accessed or downloaded cannot be refunded
